You can cancel a policy for your client directly in the Thimble Broker Portal. Once logged in, click on "Client Activity" on the left-hand side, then click on the “Active” tab. Find the client or policy you want to change and click on the green arrow on the right side.
Then, under “Manage Active Policies” click the notepad icon on the policy you want to cancel.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Want to modify or cancel your policy?”
Follow the steps to see the refund amount and to confirm the card or bank account it will go back to. We also ask that you provide a reason for canceling.
Heads up! Once you submit a cancelation, it cannot be undone. Please let your client know to allow 5-10 business days for the refund to post to their bank accounts. Remember, our policies are flexible. So you’ll also see options to revise existing coverages as an alternative to cancelation.
