Claims are unfortunate, but they don’t have to be complicated.
In a few short steps, we’ll help you start the claim process on your client’s behalf. You have two options to start a claim.
Option 1: Visit our Report a Claim page.
This will take you to the page where you’ll start the claim process. Completing it online allows us to provide the claims adjuster with the info they need to start the process. It’s also super easy!
We need:
- The policy number of the insured
- Your relationship to the claim
- Confirmation that the policy we have on file is correct
- Contact information in case someone needs to reach you
- A quick summary of what happened, when, and where
That’s it!
Option 2: Contact the Insurer
Another option is to get in touch directly with the insurer. You’ll need to know who the insurer is, but you can find that info easily by looking at the first few letters of a policy.
If the policy begins with VFMK, that’s Markel Insurance Company.
