The General Liability policies are occurrence, not claims-made. Occurrence policies provide coverage for alleged incidents that happen during the policy period, even if the claim is reported to the carrier after the policy period has ended.
Additionally, protection for covered claims that arise after the policy period from work completed during the policy period is provided as long as the occurrence takes place before the Exposure Period ends.
By contrast, claims-made policies only cover claims made while the policy is in effect.
