Thimble “Class of 2020” Sweepstakes
Official Rules
Eligibility. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. Subject to the additional limitations below, the Thimble “Class of 2020” Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to qualified residents of the United States of America, 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Verifly Insurance Services, Inc. d/b/a Thimble Insurance Services ("Thimble") and the employees of each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. For purposes of the Sweepstakes, "immediate family members" include a participant's spouse, children, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
How to Enter and Participate. The Sweepstakes will begin at 12:01 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on December 22, 2020 and all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on January 31, 2021 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). To enter, complete the brief survey using this link or the link provided on a Thimble e-newsletter or webpage, and enter the requested information about yourself and your business in the spaces provided. The Sweepstakes is targeted toward principals and founders of businesses that launched in 2020; however, anyone who satisfies the eligibility requirements in paragraph 1 above may, in lieu of responding to the survey, enter by sending a postcard via United States mail, postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period, including your name, business name, mailing address and email address to the address set forth below. By entering, you consent to Thimble’s use of your name, likeness and biographical information, and any other information that you submit regarding yourself or your business, in an e-newsletter, blog and/or other communications by Thimble. Your personal information is subject to Thimble’s Privacy Policy. Maximum one (1) entry per qualified person. Thimble reserves the right to disqualify multiple entries and entries submitted by means of software-generated or other automated processes. Thimble will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Thimble. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account owner shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning IP addresses for such account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Thimble in its sole discretion, and Thimble reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.
Prizes and Odds. Ten prize winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted at the end of the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about February 1, 2021. The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Each prize will be the choice of a gift card available from Tremendous on Tremendous.com valued at $50. (Thimble is not affiliated with Tremendous.)
Winner Notification and Acceptance. The winner of each prize will be notified by email in February, 2020. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed, except that the prize is subject to availability, and Thimble reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for payment of any taxes on prizes. The prize will be delivered to the winner either by email or postal mail. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of postmark if delivered by mail, or within ten (10) days of receipt, if delivered by hand. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within ten (10) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification and the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize. The prize winner must execute and return any release that Thimble may require before the prize will be awarded.
Disclaimers. By entering, participants acknowledge and agree that Thimble and its affiliates, contractors and agencies and the owners, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from the acceptance/possession/use and/or misuse of a prize, participation in the Sweepstakes, tampering or other unauthorized human or technical intervention, typographical, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of any telephone or computer network, computer Internet system, web site, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, forged, illegible, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, whether or not such or injuries are caused by negligent acts or omissions of the Sweepstakes Entities, or any of them. THIMBLE HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRIZES AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. By entering, participants further agree that the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to any participant's or third person's computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, injury or damage caused by computer viruses or bugs or by use of a prize. Thimble reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify the Sweepstakes if, at its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, or fraud, technical or human errors, printing, or distribution errors, or any other unanticipated causes or occurrences, have compromised the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes.
Thimble. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Thimble. Thimble's decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects.
